My speech and my preaching were not with enticing words.

It’s not the words, it’s not the shouting, but it’s the anointing.

Praise God!

Well, good morning, friends.

How are you? It's Friday yet again, is the sun not blessing us? He [God] is doing some overtime out there. I couldn't believe it was... what was it? 20˚? It was in the 20s, I think it was 27. That’s hot for May, that’s pretty hot. Praise god. Well, I’m excited this morning.

Dear friends, I’ve just come back from a 4 day retreat, and I’m just really excited.

God was just speaking to me. There was such a beauty of peace that just surrounded me when I was on this retreat. I was praying of course. In the place that I went, they’ve got about seven, Chapels all in surrounding medieval, buildings. It’s really exciting. You’ll have to go down there some time, dear friends.

It’s called Friars of Alsford or is it Aylesford, one or the other, but you just put Christian retreat Friars, and there’s only one place like this, you can’t get away with it if you Google it. Praise God.

Well, this morning I’m really excited. God gave me two powerful visions, Over my retreat. Powerful Visions. They’re really exciting to me. I haven’t even done too much research on them, but I just want to mention them this morning.

One of them was an Eagle, And as you know, an eagle in the word of God is a picture of, soaring on high. That’s us, soaring on high. How do we soar on high? You only soar on high with the Holy Spirit. That’s what’s amazing.

He Will Take You To A Place

He will bring you into a place, and that’s it after you fight and destroy the spirits of fear, worry, doubt, anxiety, depression. They have got to be defeated, because it’s them that will stop you literally soaring like an eagle. They stop you because if you’re riddled with fear, you can’t move forward with the things of God.

Let’s get this straight. This morning, dear friends, destroy the things of the flesh, and then you walk in the things of the spirit, but they’ve got to be destroyed.

You see, doubt is the enemy of faith, and faith is the enemy of doubt. If you allow doubt to rise up, it will destroy faith.

Can I hear an amen somewhere, friends?

Hey, and you know the other one that God gave me a powerful vision of? – Steps. Just steps, that’s all. It was a powerful vision. Steps to elevate you. And I want to say dear friends, You will be taken up to the next level. What does it mean? The next level means where there’s a manifestation of the power of God that starts to come around us, and uplift us, and strengthen us, we’ve never been strengthened before. Put it in your spirit.

I’ve got an important piece of treasure

Hey, do you mind if I just take a sip of Tea? Ha Ha ha, praise God. Oh, just right. After so many years, you get used to making the tea just at the right taste. So, praise God.

I want to read this quick scripture this morning.

Are you ready, dear friends? This morning, are you ready? Are you ready to go on the journey what god has for you?

I’ve got an important piece of treasure here that I want to share with you.

Dear friends, glory to God, Go to 1 Corinthians 2: 1 to 5, and hold on to your bed, Ha ha, this morning, and to my speech. We’re talking about the Apostle Paul here.

I just wanted to get this through this morning. Can you take this? This morning,

“My speech and my preaching were not with enticing words.” Some of us think it’s how you preach, some of us think it's how you shout. I go to places, and I can't understand why the preachers just shout all the time.

The Apostle Paul here says, ‘my speech and my preaching was not of enticing words.’ It’s not the words that were being delivered. Ha ha ha, can you receive this this morning? It’s not the words, it’s not the shouting, but it’s the anointing. Once the anointing is delivered with your words, that's where the power is.

But you see, the thing is you must have the anointing, you must have the, backbone of meeting with God, praying with God, of fasting with God, reaching out to God. Without all that, there’s nothing but words and loudness.

I remember, back in the day, there was this preacher who used to shout, but there was nothing there. I could even nicely go to sleep. There was Nothing there.

Then all of a sudden, praise God, you go to one place, and somebody’s got it! Somebody’s got the anointing of God on Their words and on their lips, somebody spent time alone with God.

Somebody’s decided to rise up in the power of God, and the anointing of God, and when they speak, their words are seasoned with power.

That's why the Bible declares it's when you're ready, you will lay your hands on the sick, and that's when they recover, because you are seasoned with power, your words, when you spend time before the master, your words are power, and they change people’s lives.

Oh, my good Lord God, ‘my speech and my preaching was not of enticing words you see a lot of sermons, they sound good, but are they foundational with the Holy Spirit? Otherwise, they’re Just words.

My friends, ‘my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words’, this is going to blow me out of the park, but of power. It’s the power, it’s the anointing, it’s the zill of the Holy Spirit, the presence of the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit. He only comes to servants that have spent time before him to receive the fullness of what he’s got for you and for me. Oh, glory to God. Ha ha, praise God.

I’ve got a little caption underneath. It says, if I have faith as much as a mustard seed. You see, when you go to the river to drink, the real river, the river that’s purified. I was on the retreat, I went to have a lunch in this pub, and I'm not kidding you, it is right by the river. You can see the river going, and you can see the river coming. A river is set with tides when the tide goes out, the river goes one way. When it comes in, the river goes the other way. And the beauty of peace just sitting beside there and enjoying a meal was unbelievable.

Remember, dear friends, it's the power we’re after, not the noise, not anything else. I am so thirsty for the pouring of the spirit.

I’m so thirsty, friends. [sips tea] I believe that God will take us to the next level as we start speaking on the Holy Spirit’s teaching. Let me quickly wave that before you. We’re going to be starting on this, dear friends. It’s all studied, I took time out and studied on the Holy Spirit, and it’s going to be amazing friends, a big God bless you.

Hallelujah, you just wait. You hold on, dear friends, keep going, keep going with yourself, and God will take you up the steps to the next level.
