Are You Sold Out?

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all generously.

ree

Ah, there you are.

I’ve been waiting for you. Praise God.

How are you this morning, dear friends? It’s Tea with Tones. Tones with Tea.

If you want to be blessed, come pray with me. Haha, praise the Lord!

Somebody shout Amen! Hallelujah! Well, glory to God this morning. Glory to God even yesterday morning. Every single morning is a blessing—and it’s only a blessing when you come to the secret place. Because when you come to the secret place, you’re no longer leaning on your own feelings, but on someone else’s.

You see, we live and walk in our own feelings most of the time, and we allow those feelings to dictate who we are and how we are—but that’s not biblical.

'As a man thinketh, so is he'

The Bible declares, “As a man thinketh, so is he.” So according to how you think, that’s the sort of person you're going to be. But I want to say—like it says in Psalm 1—meditate on the Word day and night, and then you’ll be like a person who is godly. And this is the Holy Spirit’s purpose for your life.

ree

As you’ve said that confessional prayer, it's at that very moment the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you—and then you'll find He starts chucking out all your junk.

Now, some of us—don’t know if you’ve seen that Stacey Solomon show where she goes round people’s houses that are full of clutter—and she gets people to get rid of at least half of it. And you see them, squirming because they don’t want to let go.

And I want to say this morning, dear friends—so many of us don’t want to get rid of our “stuff.” There’s stuff lodged within your vessel, and the fact of the matter is, you’ve got to allow yourself to submit to the Holy Spirit, 'cause He will direct you in the way you should go.

How does He do that?

Well, He does it by inspiration, by discipline, by encouragement, by loving you deeply and walking right beside you—and also, through God’s Word.

The Holy Spirit works with God’s Word, so when He speaks to you, He reveals it to you supernaturally. You can read a word and it might not mean much at first—but then all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit steps in and gives you revelation, and it hits home. Praise God!

I want to speak this morning about your relationship with Christ.

You see, some people believe they can just go to church on Sundays—and praise God for that, of course that’s wonderful. They might go to a prayer meeting on Tuesday—possibly—and they may pray at home.

Now, a lot of Christians don’t pray at home the way the Word of God calls us to. The Holy Spirit wants you to be so close to Him that you come to Him every single minute of the day—remembering that God graciously put His Spirit inside you because He wants you to emulate Him. He wants you to be like Him. That’s where you are set free from sin.

You can’t play around with the world, then do your little religious thing on Sunday—it won’t work. And a lot of people do that, and they fall into the trap of being religious. That’s a very dangerous place to be, and then you become like a Pharisee—following a bunch of rules and regulations, but there’s nothing inside you. Just routine. That is not the Spirit of God.

We’re talking about our relationship with Christ, which is the most important thing in your entire life.

Let’s go to James 1:5-6:

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

Now this is very important. Verse 6—put this in your spirit: “Let him ask in faith.” Remember, your whole foundation is cemented in faith. Without it, the Bible says no one can please God. Again: “Let him ask in faith without wavering.” Don’t you dare waver. Don’t you dare doubt.

Doubt is the enemy of faith. Wavering is the enemy of faith. You’ve got to recognise these—they are spirits.

“Let him ask in faith without wavering, for he that wavers is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. Let that man not think he will receive anything from the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

You and I—we’re not going to be like that. And I’m bringing you out right now in Jesus’ name!

You can’t work with unstable people—one minute they say they’re going to turn up, and the next they don’t. They allow the deceiver to come in with all kinds of excuses. They let the enemy whisper, “You’re too busy—you can’t do anything.”

Haha! Can you imagine!? Ahah! These are the things the enemy feeds you—and he’ll convince you so much that you start convincing yourself that you're too busy to walk with God.

Is that a lie or what?

Look at the men of God—whether it’s Moses or Joseph—do you think they were walking with God? I’ve got a feeling they were sold out.

Friends, I want to say this morning—Christ expects you to be sold out. He expects you to crucify the flesh. He expects you to come to Him with all your burdens so He can release you, break all the chains, and empower you to do everything He’s given you to do—successfully, and with the power of His Spirit. That power gives you the ability to overcome.

Can I hear an Amen somewhere!?

This is what God wants you to do. Be careful of those spirits of excuses—seriously. “I’m too busy”—I hear it so many times.

My dear friends, when you stand before the power of God—what does the Holy Spirit do? He stands back—if that’s what you want to do. If you want to be busy doing something else, He won’t rebuke you—He’ll just step back.

But I want to say—it’s His will for you to come.

The Bible declares, “Put your hand to the plough.” Looking back at the flesh, looking back at your usual distractions, makes you unfit for the Kingdom of Heaven.

He wants you to set your focus on Him, to walk with Him, to pray with Him, to dwell in Him—and to manifest His holiness through your life.

Can I hear an Amen!?

Friends, these are the kinds of people God is looking for. The ones who are sold out for Him. The ones who will do everything to walk with Him, talk with Him, and be exactly like Him.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.
